• The Ellicottville Central School District has the following openings:

     

     

    Ellicottville Central School is looking fill the following positions:

     

    Music Teacher:  Full-time, 4-year probationary K-12 General Music Teacher with a start date of October 1, 2021  

     

    MS/HS ELA Teacher:  Long-term MS/HS ELA Teacher substitute with a start date of September 1, 2021. 

     

    Maintenance Worker:  Full-time (40 hour per week) Maintenance Worker with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2021.  Applicants should have working knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices; knowledge of safety precautions and practices associated with maintenance work; knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades; mechanical aptitude; manual dexterity; industry; ability to understand and follow instructions; physical condition sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position. The work involves responsibility for performing a variety of mechanical and other building maintenance, repair, and construction-related tasks.  The work may involve the part-time operation of a truck, automobile, or other automotive equipment.

    •Part-time RN/LPN to ride & monitor student on a school bus (2 hours in AM & 2 hours in PM – shifts may be split).

     

    •School / Family Liaison (anticipated) – NYSED Certification as School Social Worker (preferred) or School Counselor in NYS is required.  Responsibilities include: acting as a liaison between students and families home, and may include, working with and making connections for students/families with agencies outside of the school.  This position may also require “flexing” to work non-traditional hours as needed.

     

    •MS/HS Transition Specialist (anticipated) - Certification in a secondary subject area in NYS required.   Responsibilities include assisting students with: instruction as needed, organization, homework completion, studying, etc.

     

    •Part-time School Bus Aide (anticipated) – Candidate needs to be available for approximately 2-3 hours in the morning and/or 2-3 hours in the afternoon.

     

    •Teacher Aide (anticipated)
