I have had the privilege of working at Ellicottville Central School for the past sixteen years. I received my undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's degree as a Literacy Specialist. During my time at ECS, I have coached Varsity Volleyball and been an advisor for both the 6th and 7th grade classes. My other duties have included managing a Scrapbooking club for the middle school students, participating on the Professional Development and Planning committee, and helping out with the afterschool Homework Club. In the past, I have also been a member of the ETA Relay for Life team. I really enjoy my role as a teacher because it allows me to interact with students from all different walks of life and watch them grow as learners. I am always looking for ways to improve the curriculum taught in order to keep up with the current standards. It is exciting to watch young minds discover something new for the very first time! My husband and I reside in Lake View with our 10-year old son, Corgi mix, and two miniature dachshunds. In my spare time I love to read, bake, put together puzzles, do crafts, and ride my bike. I am looking forward to a wonderful 2017-2018 school year with my brand new 2nd graders!!
