School Nurse:
Mrs. Leaudra Hackett is a registered nurse, serving grades PK-12. She graduated from the nursing program at JCC. She then worked at UPMC Chautauqua before coming to ECS. Nurse Leaudra started as the special education nurse here in 2024 and in 2025 transitioned into the school nurse position.
She loves seeing the kids’ smiling faces in the morning and in the hallways. Nurse Leaudra is always ready to help students in need and answer any medical questions they may have.
Health Office Aide:
Mrs. Jennifer Hasper has been an important part of the Ellicottville Central School Health Office for over 30 years. She has a very important role in helping with the many responsibilities of the Health Office. Mrs. Hasper is certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. She has also been trained to supervise students who have proved that they know how to take their own medication.
She greets all the students every morning in the hallway with a big smile and a happy “Good Morning!!!”. Mrs. Hasper registers new students and also helps in the elementary lunchroom.
School Physician and Medical Director: Dr Debra Ehrig, with Springville Pediatrics, is available to perform physicals on students that are in need. She also provides consultation to school medical personnel and administration.
